Technogym Launches First Pilates Reformer in US

The Italian fitness equipment giant is bringing Technogym Reform stateside as it looks to capitalize on demand for Pilates and luxury at-home wellness

Technogym’s first Pilates reformer has officially landed in the U.S.

The Italian fitness equipment giant has launched Technogym Reform in the American market, bringing its take on the booming modality to homes, hotels, residential developments and fitness clubs.

Technogym first unveiled Reform in April 2025, signaling its entrance into Pilates as the modality continued to gain momentum both inside studios and as an at-home workout.

Developed with Pilates instructors, the reformer features quick-adjust components designed to make it easier to transition between exercises. Users can also access on-demand workouts through the Technogym app, extending the company’s connected fitness ecosystem into Pilates.

The launch positions Technogym to compete in the U.S. market with Pilates equipment giants including Balanced Body and Merrithew, along with connected Pilates players like iFIT/NordicTrack and Your Reformer.

The U.S. launch also plays into Technogym’s positioning at the premium end of the fitness equipment market.

Reform is available as part of the company’s new Sand Stone Collection, a Mediterranean-inspired equipment line featuring materials including beech and ash wood, Warm Titanium, vegan leather and Speckled Stone made with 30% recycled materials. The reformer is also offered in Pearl Grey and Diamond Black.

The aesthetic focus is designed to make the equipment suitable not only for home gyms but also luxury living spaces and hospitality environments, reflecting a broader convergence between fitness, wellness and interior design.

Technogym’s Pilates push comes as reformer-based workouts have become one of fitness’ hottest categories. When the company first unveiled Reform last year, it cited the opportunity to serve both commercial operators and a growing number of consumers interested in bringing the studio experience home.

The move also puts Technogym into an increasingly competitive Pilates equipment market, where brands are looking to capitalize on the modality’s expansion beyond boutique studios.

For Technogym, Reform extends a product ecosystem that spans cardio and strength equipment, connected training and wellness technology, while giving the company an entry point into one of the industry’s fastest-growing modalities.
