The fast-growing reformer Pilates brand now has 86 studios operating nationwide and plans to open another 30 this year. Its latest growth includes a three-studio development agreement in San Antonio, an upcoming debut in New Hampshire and a second North Carolina location. In Texas, first-time franchise owners Laurie and Eric Falcon have signed an agreement to open Bodybar studios in San Antonio’s Alamo Heights, Stone Oak and La Cantera communities. The first location is expected to open in Alamo Heights in spring 2027. The deal will expand Bodybar’s presence in its home state while introducing the concept to San Antonio, one of the country’s largest metropolitan markets. “San Antonio is one of the fastest-growing metro regions in Texas, and it’s an area we’ve always wanted to have a presence in,” Bodybar CEO Matt McCollum said. The brand is also preparing to enter New Hampshire with an Exeter studio scheduled to open Aug. 10, pending construction. The 2,400-square-foot location will feature 15 reformers and a private room for one-on-one training. Owned by former professional BMX rider and local entrepreneur Aaron Smith, the studio will mark Bodybar’s first location in the Granite State and broaden its presence in the Northeast. Further south, Bodybar plans to open its second North Carolina studio in North Raleigh on Aug. 31. The 3,019-square-foot facility will include 14 reformers and a private training room. The Raleigh studio is owned by former health care executive Jaye Johnston, who hopes to open additional locations across the region. Founded in Fort Worth, Texas, Bodybar offers contemporary, reformer-based Pilates classes that blend traditional Pilates principles with a more athletic, high-energy format. The brand secured placements on Entrepreneur’s 2026 Franchise 500 and the 2025 Inc. 5000 list after reporting 567% growth over three years.
