The low-price gym brand’s new Studio Pilates class features 45-minute sessions on NordicTrack’s new reformers

Vasa Fitness is hopping on the Pilates wave, bringing its own reformer classes to its facilities.

The high-value, low-price (HVLP) gym operator is launching Studio Pilates, the fourth addition to its Studio boutique-style class lineup following its $30 million investment in club upgrades last year.

Vasa members will soon have access to the structured 45-minute, low-impact resistance training reformer classes to help build core strength, stability and mobility, while supporting long-term performance and injury prevention. Classes will span introductory to advanced formats created with an intentional, strength-forward progression in mind.

“This is a meaningful evolution of our Studio membership,” said Vasa Fitness CEO Michael Osanloo. “We’re not just adding another class, we’re building a comprehensive training ecosystem that gives members access to multiple premium training modalities in one place. Studio Pilates adds a highly sought-after format that complements strength, performance, and recovery, all within the Vasa experience.”

Each studio will feature 14 NordicTrack Ultra 1 Reform RX reformers, which are known for their enclosed spring system, push-button resistance changes and Smart Spine technology, which provides real-time performance feedback like power output, stroke rate and estimated calories.

“What’s exciting is that it creates a more inclusive entry point into Pilates, while still offering enough depth and progression to support long-term practice,” said iFIT’s director of marketing for Pilates, Yvette McGaffin. “That balance is difficult to achieve, and I think it’s what makes the Ultra 1 Reform RX platform genuinely distinctive.”

The new modality will debut at Vasa’s Willow Creek club in Colorado this fall, with a broader rollout planned for 2027.

Vasa is tapping into the fastest-growing modality in the industry, as other HVLP gyms look to make similar moves. Last year, one of Crunch’s top franchisees, CR Fitness, moved to add reformer Pilates to its gyms, while other big-box brands have been scaling their boutique-style offerings to keep up with boutique studios and the Pilates boom.
