The Texas-based reformer Pilates franchise has grown from just three locations a decade ago and has more than 70 additional studios in its development pipeline

Bodybar Pilates has officially hit triple digits.

The fast-growing reformer Pilates franchise is preparing to open its 100th studio in Fort Worth, Texas, returning to its home market for the milestone as it continues an aggressive national expansion.

The Presidio-area studio is slated to open Sept. 8, pending construction, and comes less than two months after Bodybar reported having 86 locations nationwide.

Bodybar has opened 21 studios so far in 2026 and now counts more than 21,000 active members. The brand says it has more than 70 additional studios in its development pipeline, with 30 locations expected to open by the end of the year.

That expansion will include debuts in Indiana, Kentucky, Nebraska, New Hampshire and Tennessee.

“When we started franchising Bodybar Pilates in 2015, we had a handful of studios but a big vision for what our brand could become,” said Kamille McCollum, Bodybar’s chief brand officer, president and co-founder. “Reaching 100 studios is incredibly rewarding, and it’s not something Matt and I take lightly.”

Founded in Fort Worth, Bodybar has grown from three Dallas-Fort Worth-area studios into a national franchise offering contemporary reformer Pilates classes that blend traditional Pilates principles with a more athletic, high-energy format.

The company’s expansion comes amid sustained consumer demand for Pilates, which has helped fuel aggressive development from both established operators and newer concepts.

Recent Bodybar deals include a three-unit agreement in San Antonio, while new locations are bringing the brand into additional markets across the country.

The 100th studio will be owned by first-time franchisee Shay Werkheiser and span 2,300 square feet, with 14 reformers and Bodybar’s signature group classes.

The milestone adds to a period of rapid growth for the Texas-based brand, which earned a spot on the 2025 Inc. 5000 after reporting 567% growth over three years.
