Club Pilates, one of the most recognizable and growing brands in boutique fitness, is changing things up, introducing its first new class format in seven years.
The national launch of Circuit classes introduces a cardiovascularly challenging, dynamic, full-body workout integrating strength, mobility and endurance with structured and progressive circuit-style Pilates rounds.
Members were reportedly demanding higher-intensity, performance-driven workouts while staying true to the Pilates modality. Club Pilates first tested the format in late 2025 in select studios, receiving enthusiastic adoption across markets.
“Circuit marks an important evolution for Club Pilates,” said brand president Tianna Strateman. “As our first new national class in seven years, this launch reflects how thoughtfully we innovate — listening to our members and delivering new challenges while staying rooted in the principles that define Pilates.”

Each class features:
- Warm-up to activate target muscle groups
- Three progressive circuit rounds
- Multi-equipment use, including a Pilates reformer, springboard, mat and chair
- Upper body, lower body and core-specific stations
- Cardio bursts between rounds to drive intensity
- Guided post-workout cool-down
The new class will begin rolling out nationwide this month, with Club Pilates members having the ability to take the class in levels 1.5 or 2, meant for “advanced beginner” and “intermediate” practitioners.
The move potentially positions Club Pilates to compete with brands such as Solidcore and Strong Pilates, both of which offer higher-intensity takes on the popular modality.
The Xponential Fitness-owned franchise is hoping to boost excitement for the new class through key activations that bring Circuit classes to local communities with “Move Stronger with Circuit” events.
The free, outdoor mar Pilates classes will be hosted at local community spaces, with two planned so far in Chino Hills, California and Arlington, Texas, offering a more beginner-friendly format aimed to introduce the modality in a more accessible and equipment-free environment.
Club Pilates’ class expansion comes as the brand is ramping up its international presence as well, signing deals in countries including Mexico, Australia and Thailand, among others.
