The new competition has tapped pliability to provide athletes access to recovery protocols, breathwork and on-site activation spaces ahead of its debut event this summer

As Xenom gears up for its “decathlon of fitness” competition debut this June, the brand has named stretching, flexibility and mobility app pliability as its official mobility partner.

Pliability, which partnered with Hyrox last year, will provide Xenom’s participants with key access that helps them prepare, recover and perform at their best. The partnership includes:

  • Mobility integration: pliability will deliver dedicated mobility and recovery protocols made to meet the demands of Xenom’s 10-event structure, supporting athletes before, during and after competition
  • Athlete access and subscription offering: All registered Xenom athletes will receive three months of complimentary access to pliability, providing structured mobility, recovery, and breathwork programming as part of their competition journey
  • Event activation: Xenom competitions will feature pliability activations like dedicated athlete warm-up and recovery spaces with on-site guided mobility flows, digital content access and recovery zones designed to support performance on the ground
  • Athlete education: Content focused on movement quality, injury prevention and recovery strategies tailored specifically to Xenom

“Xenom represents a significant evolution in the competitive fitness space, bringing structure and consistency to how effort is measured,” said pliability founder Scott Perkins. “That same level of intention needs to exist in how athletes take care of their bodies. This partnership allows us to support athletes with the tools they need to move better, recover effectively, and sustain performance across a demanding competitive environment.”

The partnership arrives as Xenom is building momentum amid a booming in-person fitness-competition market. Just a few months ago, the competition launched with a $15 million seed round led by WndrCo, the investment firm run by Jeffrey Katzenberg, the former chairman of Walt Disney Studios and co-founder of DreamWorks, and Sujay Jaswa, former chief financial officer of Dropbox.

“Xenom is designed to standardize performance across competitive fitness, and that requires not just how athletes train, but how they recover and maintain their bodies over time. Partnering with pliability brings a critical component into that equation,” said Xenom founder and CEO Keith Barlow. “Their approach to mobility and recovery aligns with our focus on long-term, measurable progression, ensuring athletes can show up and perform consistently across every event.”

Xenom’s debut event will take place June 27-28 at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, the corporate headquarters and practice facility of the Dallas Cowboys.
