It’s a significant year for Fhitting Room, which recently celebrated its ten-year anniversary. Two more Fhitting Room – NYSC locations will open this year at Philadelphia’s Society Hill and Washington D.C.’s Dupont Circle, following NYSC’s acquisition of the group fitness operator last fall. The new Fhitting Room studio is located on the ground floor of the New York Sports Club E. 76th St. location, offering Fhitting Room and NYSC clients an opportunity to engage in a comprehensive fitness experience. Fhitting Room president Liz Benjamin said the first week of the UES opening exceeded expectations. “We are thrilled to welcome back many familiar clients while also forging new relationships within the vibrant neighborhood where Fhitting Room first began,” Benjamin tells Athletech News. “The realization of our signature studio experience within an NYSC location has been an exhilarating journey for our dedicated team and our community.” “This achievement serves as a testament to the incredible growth prospects that lie ahead for us in the future,” Benjamin added. Benjamin was promoted to her new role as president earlier this year, now overseeing all Fhitting Room operations — one of a few executive moves that Fhitting Room founder Kari Saitowitz has said signals the boutique fitness company’s next growth phase. Attendees of Fhitting Room can tack on a workout before or after class with access to NYSC’s Upper East Side facility and its long list of amenities, including its functional field turf areas designed for training and stretching, cardio machines and recovery lounge with Hydromassage chairs and sauna.
