Fhitting Room Announces Executive Changes

Fhitting Room NYC flagship studio
Fhitting Room, the boutique fitness brand, announced significant new executive changes for the company

Fhitting Room, the popular HIIT boutique fitness studio, has just announced some significant executive changes. The company’s Chief Operating Officer, Liz Benjamin, has been promoted to the position of President, and she will now oversee all the operations. Additionally, Ben Wegman, the Chief Curriculum Officer and Trainer, will assume a full-time role as the Director of Training + Studio Experience, while Eric Salvador, the brand’s Head Trainer, will continue to lead trainers and programming.

The founder of Fhitting Room, Kari Saitowitz, shared in a letter to the brand’s community that the changes are part of the next phase of growth for the studio. She expressed excitement about the expansion of the brand into new markets and the doubling of the number of locations, all while maintaining the same exceptional care, attention to detail, and best-in-class programming that the brand is known for.

“I love the Fhitting Room brand and everything it stands for. I love it so much that I know in my current role, I cannot personally give Fhitting Room the level of focus needed through this next phase of growth. But as luck and smart hiring would have it, Fhitting Room’s three Founding team members, Ben, Eric + Liz can and will!”

Saitowitz emphasized that while she will always be Fhitting Room’s Founder, her current role as Chief Marketing + Creative Officer across all New York Sports Club (NYSC)-owned brands, including Fhitting Room, does not allow her to give the HIIT and Strength boutique fitness studio the level of focus it needs through this next phase of growth. She expressed confidence in the new leadership team and their ability to continue the brand’s success and growth.

Saitowitz concluded her letter on a note of excitement and gratitude, “I will forever be Fhitting Room’s Founder and look forward to continuing to be an integral part of the Brand’s growth as Chief Marketing + Creative Officer across the entire NYSC portfolio. Thank you for embracing this brand and our team. I’ll see you in class soon.”
