Crunch franchisee Fit Fusion will open four Crunch 3.0 clubs in the Denver area, which will include the operator’s new boutique-style Reform Pilates concept

Crunch Fitness is expanding its presence in Colorado with four new Denver-area locations, as franchisee Fit Fusion continues to scale the brand’s 3.0 club concept and broaden the rollout of Crunch’s reformer Pilates classes.

The new clubs — Crunch Hampden, Crunch 92nd & Wadsworth, Crunch Wheat Ridge and, later, Crunch Northglenn — are scheduled to open this winter and into early next year. Operated by Fit Fusion, the locations will further strengthen Crunch’s footprint in one of the country’s most fitness-conscious markets while bringing boutique-style Pilates programming to additional high-value, low-price (HVLP) gyms.

Each of the new clubs will feature dedicated Crunch Reform Pilates studios available to Elite members alongside hot yoga, hot Pilates and TRX classes. The locations will also include Crunch’s new 3.0 design, featuring expanded strength and cardio areas, Olympic lifting platforms, HIITZone training turf, personal training, recovery amenities including HydroMassage, red light therapy, cryotherapy and saunas, plus Kids Crunch child care.

The expansion builds on Crunch‘s launch of Crunch Reform Pilates earlier this summer, as the gym chain looks to capitalize on sustained demand for one of fitness’ fastest-growing modalities. The boutique-inspired studios pair instructor-led reformer classes with integrated lighting, sound systems and digital programming in an effort to bring a premium Pilates experience into the HVLP gym setting.

The strategy reflects a broader shift across the industry, with operators including Vasa Fitness, Amped Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness and World Gym investing in reformer Pilates as traditional gyms increasingly compete with boutique studios.

For Fit Fusion, the Denver expansion marks another step in the franchisee’s rapid growth. The company recently acquired two Crunch locations in Colorado Springs and plans to relocate one into a new 3.0-format club.

Once the new Denver-area gyms open, Fit Fusion will operate 17 Crunch locations nationwide, including 12 across the western U.S. The franchisee said earlier this year it plans to grow to 30 clubs by the end of 2026 through a mix of new development, acquisitions and partnerships with existing operators.

“Denver is one of the most health-conscious cities in the country, and we are excited to plant roots in four communities in the area,” said Fit Fusion chief strategy and development officer Mike Goodsell. “We are bringing premium, boutique-quality fitness to the community, featuring a Crunch Reform Pilates Studio, Hot Yoga, HIITZone and child care, all without the serious price.”
