Club Pilates Tops 1,500 Studios, Leaning Into International Growth 

The world’s largest Pilates brand by a considerable distance, Club Pilates continues to expand, with fresh studio openings in Bangkok and Mexico City underscoring the franchise’s push to open more locations abroad

Club Pilates has crossed 1,500 studios globally, a milestone that further cements its position as the world’s largest Pilates brand by studio count. 

The Xponential Fitness-owned brand reached the number on the back of recent openings in Bangkok, Thailand, and Mexico City, Mexico, as it continues to expand internationally through master franchising agreements.

“Few franchise brands make it to 100 locations, let alone 1,500. Club Pilates is a brand that has proven that it can travel and adapt meaningfully to local communities around the world,” said Xponential Fitness president of international Bob Kaufman. “The global adoption of Club Pilates in so many diverse markets is a testament to our capable and dedicated franchisees, instructors, studio teams, and members.”

The Bangkok and Mexico City debuts are the latest in a string of moves that suggest Club Pilates is banking on overseas markets to keep its growth curve climbing as the U.S. boutique fitness landscape becomes more crowded, especially for Pilates studio concepts.

Club Pilates has built its brand around accessibility, designing its programming for everyone from first-timers to advanced practitioners and “active agers.” 

Its class lineup spans Intro Class, Reformer Flow, Cardio Sculpt, Center + Balance, Control, Restore, Suspend, Teen and its newest addition, Circuit, an athletic, full-body class that blends classic Reformer Pilates with strength training and low-impact cardio intervals.
