The franchisor will open its first Saudi Arabia location in spring 2026, the latest move Anytime’s aggressive Middle East growth push
Purpose Brands continues to grow its Middle East footprint, with a new Anytime Fitness club opening in Saudi Arabia, via a master franchise agreement signed with ownership group ABFit.
Saudi Arabia’s first Anytime Fitness club is slated to open in spring 2026. Over 60 more clubs are to follow over the next six years with both women’s and men’s branches in various cities across the country.
“We are thrilled to bring the Anytime Fitness brand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” said investor partner and general manager of ABFit, Raed Alarabi Alharthi. “Health and fitness are key components of The Saudi Vision 2030 goals, and we are proud to make this investment and expand access to fitness services across the Kingdom.”
As a perk for the five million members worldwide, the clubs will also provide personalized coaching, nutrition and recovery services in the 49 countries and territories it operates in.
“As we move with intention to expand the ways Anytime Fitness helps people with their personal health and wellness journeys, this agreement with ABFit and the vote of confidence from the Kingdom is something we deeply respect,” said Anytime Fitness’s global president Stacy Anderson.
“We strongly believe in the double-digit growth forecasts for the $6.3 trillion global wellness economy over the next decade, and investments like those being made by the Kingdom are crucial to help ensure we evolve health and wellness in ways that are more accessible for people and communities worldwide,” she added.
The opening is Anytime Fitness’ latest effort in its push for a strong presence in the Middle East, arriving soon after the grand opening of its first club in Dubai, which opened last month.
