Xponential Exec Alex Isaly Embarks on 930 Mile Bike Race for Good

Isaly is on a solo journey from California to Colorado to raise money for The Bahati Foundation

Alex Isaly, vice president of fitness streaming programming for Xponential, is headed on a journey to raise money for The Bahati Foundation, traveling 930 miles and gaining 56,000 feet of elevation on his bicycle.

Isaly kicks off the excursion on June 13, traveling from California to Colorado as a competitor in Race Across the West.

During his travels, Isaly will ride from the Pacific Ocean to the Rocky Mountains as part of his commitment to The Bahati Foundation, which provides inner-city youth access to noncompetitive and competitive cycling.

The 2004 Ironman Lake Placid finisher and 2010 and 2018 HooDoo 500 finisher as a solo rider fell in love with cycling twenty years ago. In 2021, his Race Across America team finished in six days and 10 hours, placing them first place in all 4-man team categories.

The founder and chairman of The Bahati Foundation, Rahsaan Bahati, shared that inner-city students face a significant lack of resources and access to educational opportunities, and he has a passion for addressing such issues by inspiring, motivating and engaging young people with cycling and other outreach opportunities.

The funds raised to support Isaly’s race will mean six young cyclists will enjoy a trip to Steamboat, Colorado, in August, where they will experience a world-class gravel race.

Isaly has partnered with several sponsors, including Giant Bicycles, Hyperice, CycleBar and StretchLab.
