It’s a fitting match. Othership, born in Canada, has made a name for itself Stateside with its immersive, community-focused hot-cold rituals and sober raves. The brand raised $8.5 million last year to fuel its own U.S. expansion, beginning with a second NYC location that opened in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in September. credit: Sanctum The two-day pop-up at Othership Flatiron pairs Sanctum’s music-driven movement format with Othership’s signature sauna and ice bath programming in a 75-minute hybrid session. It’s more than just movement for the sake of it; there’s a sense of intentionality and connection in Sanctum’s approach. The wellness brand describes its sessions as a moving, high-intensity meditation for modern seekers, drawn from Zen Buddhism, qigong, somatic movement, HIIT and quantum energy work. Participants can expect towel waving, aromatherapy, guided breathwork and vocal release. Though the headphones might look like a tech-forward touch, they function as the opposite. Sanctum uses them to seal participants inside a curated soundscape and pull attention inward. It’s also the kind of analog, fully embodied experience consumers are increasingly turning out for. U.S. phone-free event volume jumped 388% between 2024 and 2025, with attendance up 913%, according to Eventbrite, part of a broader 567% global surge. Tickets, $69.68 per person, are available here. Sanctum also runs daily classes in London, Dubai, Amsterdam and Stockholm, with additional hospitality partnerships including Six Senses and Kerzner’s SIRO. It launched its music-led somatic movement app, Sanctum Digital, this year and has announced its at-sea debut aboard the Crystal Serenity for an October voyage out of Lisbon. Beyond its public classes, Sanctum runs a B2B arm built around private bookings for corporate activations, conferences and team offsites. There’s also a Frequency Festival series, which it bills as a large-scale communal ritual.
