Through the expanded partnership, iFIT’s AI-powered personal trainer will use Galaxy health data to deliver personalized workouts and adaptive weekly training plans

iFIT is deepening its partnership with Samsung Health by bringing its AI-powered personal trainer, Tailor, to compatible Galaxy devices later this year.

The integration builds on a 2025 deal that made select iFIT workout content available through Samsung Health. The next phase will add iFIT’s personalized coaching plans informed by user goals, schedules, workout history and health data captured by Galaxy devices such as the Galaxy Watch, including sleep, heart rate and recovery metrics.

Tailor will create daily workouts and weekly training plans that adjust as users progress, recover or change routines. Programming will span strength, HIIT, cardio, cycling, yoga, Pilates and mindfulness, drawing from workouts developed by iFIT’s roster of 180 trainers.

“When we launched with Samsung Health last year, we brought iFIT’s world-class content to millions of new users,” iFIT CEO Kevin Duffy said. “With iFIT Tailor coming to Samsung Health, we’re going further.”

Samsung Health users will be able to access Tailor directly through the app, while iFIT members will receive the feature as part of their existing membership. Nonmembers can purchase a monthly or annual iFIT subscription through Samsung Health.

The feature will launch later this year in the U.S., India and South Korea, with additional markets set to follow in 2027.

The partnership supports iFIT’s ongoing push to position itself as a broader personalized fitness platform beyond its connected equipment brands, which include NordicTrack, ProForm and Freemotion. The company has also been expanding its AI capabilities and content partnerships as it looks to deliver more individualized training across home, gym and mobile settings.
