The fitness racing brand has struck a multi-year global partnership with FitRadio, naming the fitness-focused streaming platform its first digital training music partner. As part of the deal, FitRadio has launched a dedicated Hyrox station designed specifically for athletes preparing for races. The partnership gives FitRadio access to a rapidly expanding audience. Hyrox recorded more than 1.5 million racers during its 2025/26 season and is projecting 2 million competitors in 2026/27, according to the sides. FitRadio says another three million athletes are training in Hyrox gyms worldwide. Available now in the FitRadio app, the dedicated station is programmed around the specific demands of Hyrox training, including high-intensity intervals, functional strength work and endurance. Rather than simply building playlists around genres or listening preferences, FitRadio says its programming is designed around workout performance. Its AI-powered music engine analyzes factors including beats per minute (BPM), energy curves, vocal intensity and song structure to match music with different training modalities. Professional DJs and producers also curate the mixes and playlists. “Music has a job to do in a training environment,” FitRadio founder and CEO Rusty Greene said. “It’s setting the tempo people move to, cueing the transitions, controlling how hard the room pushes.” Greene described music as “load-bearing” in a fitness setting, adding that the Hyrox station was designed “to work as hard as the athletes using it.” The concept aligns particularly well with Hyrox’s standardized competition format, which combines eight one-kilometer runs with eight functional workout stations. Founded in Germany in 2017, Hyrox now holds races in more than 30 countries and has expanded beyond events through its Hyrox 365 training ecosystem and other programming. Under the agreement, FitRadio will also appear across Hyrox’s global digital and marketing channels, including its website and social platforms. The companies plan to collaborate on content and athlete programming throughout the partnership. For FitRadio, the Hyrox deal builds on an existing footprint inside gyms and studios. The company provides music programming to fitness brands including Orangetheory Fitness, LA Fitness, Burn Boot Camp, F45 Training, Club Pilates, D1 Training and Club Studio.
