Australian boutique fitness brand Revl Training has entered Taiwan, opening its first location in Taipei’s Da’an District as it continues to expand across the Asia-Pacific region. The performance-focused franchise combines coached group workouts with structured programming designed around measurable progression. Its arrival in Taiwan follows recent expansion into Vietnam and Malaysia. Revl says Taiwan represents its eighth market and takes its global footprint beyond 50 operating studios. “Taiwan has always been a highly strategic market for us,” Revl co-founder Ben Woolford said. “Globally, we’re seeing a shift toward structured, coaching-led training experiences where progression and community hold the same weight.” “Taiwan has an incredibly engaged fitness culture, and we’re excited to introduce the Revl methodology to a market that’s ready for it,” he added. The Taipei studio is operated by Hasan Muhammad, an existing Revl franchise partner in Singapore. His move into Taiwan reflects the brand’s strategy of expanding internationally through experienced, multi-unit operators. “Before we became Revl operators, we trained the product,” Muhammad said. “We experienced firsthand the strength of the training model and the community around it, which gave us the conviction to bring Revl to Singapore and now Taiwan.” Muhammad said growing interest in functional training created an opportunity for a more structured offering centered on coaching and progressive programming. “Our founding members told us during early access week that this is the training Taiwan has been missing,” he said. Founded in Australia in 2020 by Woolford and Josh Mildren, Revl reached its 50th operating studio in June with the opening of a location in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. At the time, the company reported having more than 70 franchise territories sold across seven countries. Revl has also signed development agreements supporting additional growth in Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam. Its publicly stated expansion plan calls for more than 100 operating studios and 150 territories sold by 2028. The Taiwan opening advances that goal while giving Revl a foothold in another major Asian fitness market. Tags: Expansion Revl Training
