MyFitnessPal & ABC Fitness Team To Improve Gym Success

Gym-goers want more personalization—and MyFitnessPal and ABC Fitness are making it happen
Demand for personalization is at an all-time high, and as gyms evolve into all-in-one health and wellness hubs, nutrition is becoming a key part of the equation. Now, ABC Fitness and MyFitnessPal are joining forces to bring holistic health tracking to gym members and coaching clients with a partnership that gives trainers access to food and nutrition data, enabling them to deliver more personalized, data-driven guidance.
The collaboration’s reach is substantial—collectively supporting more than 300 million people in over 100 countries. By offering gyms and trainers access to clients’ food diaries through a connected platform, the integration aims to unlock insights into nutrition habits resulting in improved member outcomes and strong member engagement.
“As the fitness industry continues to evolve, technology is shaping the future of how people track progress and achieve results and how fitness businesses better support members on their health journey,” ABC Fitness CEO Bill Davis said. “By integrating MyFitnessPal into our ecosystem, we will be taking fitness personalization to the next level—helping members achieve their goals more efficiently while equipping gyms and trainers with tools to provide a more holistic health experience.”

Last December, the popular food-tracking app released data demonstrating that nutrition and food tracking is an effective tool for meeting weight management goals. More recently, MyFitnessPal acquired Intent, a personalized meal-planning app.
“At MyFitnessPal, we’re dedicated to helping people around the world reach their health goals through better food choices,” MyFitnessPal CEO Mike Fisher said. “We believe that achieving your goals in the gym truly begins in the kitchen. Collaborating with ABC Fitness allows us to connect nutrition and fitness in a way that can drive real results for their clients.”
In addition to its partnership with MyFitnessPal, ABC Fitness has unveiled a new suite of solutions designed to help fitness businesses drive growth and engagement.

The lineup includes ABC XLerate, an advanced CRM that automates sales and marketing, improves lead capture and conversion and enhances member retention. ABC Fitness is also introducing AI-powered billing, which optimizes collections based on member attributes, preferences and payment history, along with AI-driven data capabilities that deliver personalized, actionable insights into member behavior, trends and business performance.
“At ABC Fitness, we are committed to empowering fitness businesses with cutting-edge technology that helps them thrive in today’s competitive market,” Davis said. “These new solutions are a testament to our dedication to innovation and our deep understanding of the fitness industry. By leveraging the power of AI and our extensive data, we are providing fitness businesses with the tools they need to achieve sustainable growth, improve their operations, and deliver exceptional member experiences.”
