The company, which counts elite marathoner Adam Clarke as co-founder, declined to disclose the figure. The raise follows a 2025 seed round and a user base that now spans more than 110 countries, with brand partnerships including Huawei, Vodafone, Puma and Adidas. Farah and Clarke are among the coaches, alongside British Marathon champ and Purdue Performance co-founder Charlotte Purdue and Rory Knight, a top U.K. trainer. “I’ve spent my whole career learning what it takes to improve as a runner and be the best I could be,” Farah said. “This latest funding round means we can reach more people, deepen the human expertise at the heart of the app and make a real difference to how URunn members run, and their belief in what they can achieve in this sport.” URunn costs £12.99 a month (about $17) or £93.99 a year (about $124). Interest in formal races is also climbing, with 61% of U.K. runners considering a competitive event this year. The social side is surging, too. New run clubs on Strava have tripled year over year, with Brazil up nearly 800%. Strava, for its part, is also on board with the running boom.
