Powr-Zone gives fitness operators and consumers a place to try SportsArt equipment while doubling as a programming and product-development hub

SportsArt is giving fitness operators and consumers a new way to experience its equipment in person with the launch of Powr-Zone Columbus, the brand’s first sponsored fitness and well-being concept in the U.S.

The new facility will serve as SportsArt’s Midwest showroom and application-development hub, offering a physical space where trainers, coaches, health clubs, campus recreation centers, hospitality operators and other commercial fitness professionals can see the company’s equipment in action and explore how it can be used in different training environments.

Powr-Zone Columbus will feature SportsArt’s Eco-Powr cardio machines and strength equipment alongside coach-led small-group programming. The full concept officially opens Sept. 10.

Rather than operating as a traditional open gym, the company is positioning the location as an experience center, think tank and event space.

“Powr-Zone Columbus is different from a typical fitness studio,” said Craig Lerner, founder of Involve and Involve Ventures, the owner and operator of the new concept. “It is not an open gym format, it’s an experience center, think tank and event space.”

The concept gives SportsArt a venue to showcase its technology in a live fitness setting instead of a conventional equipment showroom.

Commercial fitness professionals will be able to observe and test SportsArt products alongside the company’s proprietary Powr-Zone Training program, which combines cardio, strength, conditioning and functional movement in 30-, 45- and 60-minute coach-led sessions.

The space will also be used to test and refine programming, create educational content and develop new training applications that can later be used on gym floors elsewhere.

SportsArt’s cardio lineup includes its Eco-Powr technology, which the company says can convert up to 74% of the energy generated during a workout into reusable electricity and produce up to 220 watt-hours per hour of exercise.

Sessions conclude with a collective energy-output score, tying SportsArt’s sustainability positioning directly into the workout experience.

Powr-Zone Columbus also includes Powr+, an on-site digital experience designed to track progress and extend engagement beyond individual workouts.

The location is owned and operated by WellXM, a new Columbus-based fitness and wellness company formed by Involve, with plans for broader national expansion.
