Nationwide yoga studio CorePower Yoga and Los Angeles-based movement company Bala announced the launch of their first-ever, limited edition partnership: a set of Bala Bangles in CorePower Yoga’s signature bright orange hue.
The Bala brand’s origin story has connections to a CorePower yoga class.
“I got CorePower Yoga certified in 2017, and the business of yoga was very much in my subconscious at the time,” Bala Founder Natalie Holloway recalls. “CorePower Yoga was my favorite studio, and I specifically loved their incorporation of weights into their yoga classes. Pure genius!”
“I think subconsciously, CorePower Yoga had a lot to do with the conception of the Bala Bangles because, at the time, dumbbells were used in their classes, and I always thought to myself, ‘Wouldn’t this be great with wrist weights, instead of having to bend down and grab your dumbbells and interrupt your flow?'” Holloway added. “So this partnership is full circle for Bala, and we are beyond excited to bring it back to the beginning and partner with CorePower Yoga!”
