Circle, a Combat Fitness & Recovery Club, To Launch in Saudi Arabia
When it opens, Circle will offer performance zones, recovery facilities and social spaces built around six foundational areas. The brand is also eyeing expansion across the Gulf region and the U.K.
A new chapter in Saudi Arabia’s wellness movement is taking shape as Circle, a holistic wellness and performance center, prepares to open this coming summer in Khobar, a city known for its large expatriate base and growing young professional community.
The project was born from a partnership between Salman Al Naimi, co-founder of Riyadh’s advanced recovery center Echo, and Andrew Constanti, founder of London’s BoxCentric, a combat fitness club that counts professional heavyweight David Adeleye among its athletes.
After expanding BoxCentric into Kuwait with a second location, Constanti saw Saudi Arabia as the next frontier.
“We’ve already proved that our brand works with our presence in Kuwait,” Constanti said. “Now with Saudi Arabia and with a visionary like Salman, who built his own recovery and health span brand in Riyadh, we’re set to be first movers in combining three pillars: combat, fitness and recovery within one Circle.”
When it opens, Circle will offer performance zones, recovery facilities and social spaces built around six foundational areas. The center will include a high-performance combat and training zone alongside recovery and rehabilitation spaces equipped with advanced health technology, with natural light, greenery and modern design framing the space.

“Circle was built to meet a real need,” Al Naimi said. “People here want a space that doesn’t just follow global trends but sets a new standard that fits our community and culture, supported by both UK and Saudi expertise.”
Khobar is only the starting point, with Circle planning to expand across the Gulf and into the UK within three years.
Saudi Arabia’s fitness scene has reached a new inflection point, drawing attention from both global franchises and regional operators. And for good reason: the Kingdom’s health and wellness market is expected to exceed $81 billion by 2033, growing at a 9.7% compound annual growth rate and further buoyed by Saudi Vision 2030, a government program promoting active lifestyles and international collaboration.
Budget-friendly gym operator GymNation recently opened its first Riyadh location and new regional headquarters, while mobile and at-home personal training franchise GymGuyz signed a master franchise deal with Bait Al Batterjee Group (BAB), which will bring at least 80 new territories across Saudi Arabia and the UAE. PureGym, one of the region’s fastest-expanding fitness chains, also announced plans last year to open its first three gyms in Jeddah.
Beyond fitness, Whoop backer and soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo recently announced the expansion of his wellness brand Insparya into Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the link between health, confidence and longevity.
