Bringing the Heat: Perspire Sauna Studio Grows Its Texas Footprint
Texas is about to get toastier as Perspire Sauna Studio expands across the Dallas-Fort Worth area
Perspire Sauna Studio is bringing its full-spectrum infrared (IR) and red-light (RL) sauna therapy services to the Dallas-Fort Worth area following a three-unit franchise agreement to bring studios to McKinney, Frisco and Prosper.
The first location—McKinney—is slated to open this fall.
“Perspire stood out to us as a brand that seamlessly combines cutting-edge technology with a clear focus on wellness,” franchise partner and longtime sauna advocate Tania Ohrn said. She is opening the locations alongside her husband, David.
“Together, we see this venture as more than just a business – it’s an opportunity to make health and wellness more accessible to our community in an inviting and effective way,” she added.
Perspire Sauna Studio Founder and CEO Lee Braun noted that Texas has proven to be a thriving market for the sauna franchise.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Tania and David to our growing franchise system,” Braun said. “Their passion for wellness and strong connections to the local community make them the perfect partners to bring preventative wellness to more neighborhoods across the greater DFW metro.”
Earlier this month, Perspire Sauna Studio announced a three-studio development agreement in Washington, with locations tentatively planned for Kirkland and Bothell. The first studio is expected to open in Bellevue later this year. In California, 13 new Perspire Sauna Studio locations are set to open in the greater San Francisco Bay area, San Diego and Pasadena areas, building on its current 17 studios. Colorado, meanwhile, is gaining seven new studios.
All told, Perspire Sauna Studio plans to open 40 new locations this year. In 2024 alone, its popular wellness and recovery concept hosted 1.1 million sauna sessions and added 25,000 new members across its 70+ locations.

Perspire Sauna Studio has forged several partnerships, enhancing the guest experience with a new sauna design featuring premium red-light therapy, Halo One halotherapy generators, Bluetooth connectivity and chromotherapy. One notable partnership with Silient offers guests SNØ Shower, a unique and refreshing 45-degree rainfall shower cold therapy experience that promotes improved circulation, reduced inflammation and muscle recovery. The new wellness experience will expand to half of all studios nationwide by the end of the year.
