Perspire Sauna Studio Heats Up

Working ‘in’ is just as vital as working out, says Perspire Sauna Studio’s CEO, as the infrared and red-light therapy sauna franchise plans to open 40 more locations this year

Perspire Sauna Studio is celebrating several impressive metrics as interest in wellness practices continues to heat up, with indulging in a sauna being hailed as a top trend for this year.

The infrared and red-light therapy sauna franchise—set to open 40 new locations this year—hosted 1.1 million sauna sessions in 2024 and welcomed 25,000 new members across its 70+ locations nationwide.
Likewise, its franchising arm saw significant interest during the year, with Perspire awarding 75 new territories to franchisees and opening 22 new studios across 27 states.

“In 2025, prioritizing your health isn’t just about working out—it’s about working in,” Perspire Sauna Studio founder and CEO Lee Braun said. “Incorporating regular sauna sessions into your wellness routine offers profound benefits for your body and creates a space for mental clarity in our fast-paced world.”

Perspire credits part of its success to enhancing and personalizing its guest experience through numerous partnerships, which saw a new sauna design featuring premium red-light therapy, Halo One halotherapy generators, Bluetooth connectivity and chromotherapy. The sauna franchise also added contrast therapy following a partnership with Silient, providing its guests with a 45-degree rainfall shower cold therapy experience that promotes improved circulation, reduced inflammation and muscle recovery. Dubbed SNØ Shower, the new wellness experience is set to expand to half of all Perspire Sauna studios nationwide by the end of the year.

As Perspire Sauna Studio looks ahead, it’s aiming to have 500 locations open in the U.S. by the end of 2027. In preparation, the sauna franchisor made several key appointments last summer.
