Bodybar Pilates To Add Curated Apparel & More This Year

Bodybar Pilates recently opened five studios and intends to launch product collabs this year that appeal to its members
Pilates franchise Bodybar Pilates is reflecting on a successful 2024, which began with 24 locations and grew to nearly 50 studios across the U.S. by year’s end.
The upscale boutique Pilates franchise also made an appearance on both Inc.’s 5000 list of fastest-growing companies and Entrepreneur’s Top 500 Franchises for the second year in a row.
This year, Bodybar plans to expand its retail offerings with curated apparel and product collaborations that align with the interests of its 12,000 members. Plans are also in the works to enhance the member experience by exploring advancements in technology, equipment and training systems, according to the franchise.
“This year has been a testament to the strength of our franchisees, our passionate members and the systems we’ve built to support our sustainable growth,” Bodybar Pilates CEO Matt McCollum said. “We’re excited to build on this momentum by continuing to innovate, expand and provide unparalleled support to our franchisees. Bodybar’s future has never been brighter, and we look forward to welcoming new entrepreneurs into our franchise family.”

Bodybar has 115 signed territories and recently opened studios in Bradenton, Florida; Hoover-Knox Square, Alabama; Oak Park, Illinois; Pearland, Texas and Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Last month, the Pilates franchise launched a New Year’s campaign aptly titled “Resolutions Are Out, Reformers Are In,” which represents embracing sustainable fitness rather than short-term quick fixes.
Bodybar offers several class formats, including a classic workout suitable for beginners and experienced Pilates enthusiasts, Power Tower, Bodybar 101 and Stretch & Balance. Reformer-based classes are also available: Mixed Equipment, Reformer Jump, Reformer Chair and signature Reformer. For those interested in teaching, Bodybar offers a Pilates instructor training and certification program.
As it prepares for continued growth, Bodybar onboarded Michael Piermarini, former Orangetheory director of fitness, as its new chief operating officer late last year. Piermarini once represented Team USA in a duathlon at the World Championships.

“I am excited to join Bodybar Pilates at this stage in its growth,” Piermarini said. “The brand’s focus on functional fitness and community resonates with my own professional values, and I look forward to helping the company continue to grow.”
