Activewear giant Alo continues to push deeper into fitness. Its latest activation brings 270 free classes spanning Pilates to sound baths, at studios stretching from Seoul to LA

To amplify the global celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, Alo is partnering with over 100 female-owned wellness studios in nine different countries for a day of complimentary movement and mindfulness.

In total, that comes to 270 Alo-hosted classes, across modalities like Pilates, yoga, meditation, sound baths and others, approaching nearly 5,000 participants globally from Los Angeles, Miami and Vancouver to London, Sydney and Seoul. Participating locations include Forza in Nashville, Sarana in Sydney, Ayla Pilates in Rome and Homebody in LA.

The activewear giant says its goal is to uplift female founders in the industry and forge community connections through shared experiences.

“By partnering with female-owned studios around the world, we’re celebrating entrepreneurs who create space for wellness and connection every day,” said Alo executive vice president of marketing and creative Summer Nacewicz. “At Alo, we believe wellness is collective — and when we support women’s well-being and leadership, we help build a future where women don’t just participate, they lead and thrive.”

Outside of the classes, Alo will also host community wellness walks that meet at its Alo Sanctuaries locations, as well as a series of women-only panels at its Fashion Island, Miami Design District and Regent Street locations.

The conversations exemplify its 2026 theme of “Justice for Women and Girls Everywhere,” placing emphasis on women’s mental health struggles, with themes including mindfulness, movement and community used as tools for healing, resilience and strength.

Building upon that, Alo will support the nonprofit organization the Mental Health Coalition to bring mental health resources and education to millions of women to offer support and help reduce stigma.

Interested participants can find participating locations and register on Alo’s website through March 7.

Alo has steadily expanded its push into fitness, outside of its trendy apparel, including an exclusive, secret New York City gym, while also growing its digital fitness footprint by making its online workout platform free to everyone.
