Adidas & Strava Offer Free Premium Trials for Runners Ahead of Spring Marathons

AdiClub members in the U.S. and Canada can access up to 12 months of Strava’s premium features through a limited-time offer in the Adidas app

With the Boston and London Marathons approaching, Adidas and Strava are rolling out a joint initiative aimed at supporting runners during one of the sport’s busiest seasons. Through a new partnership, adiClub members in the United States and Canada can access free trials of Strava’s premium subscription, which includes advanced performance tracking and training tools.

The offer, available through the Adidas app while supplies last, includes a three-month trial for 3,500 points or a twelve-month trial for 15,000 points. It’s open to both seasoned Strava users and new members, though those already subscribed to Strava Premium will need to cancel and let their account revert to a free version before redeeming the offer.

This move is part of Adidas’s effort to expand AdiClub benefits through partnerships with platforms that emphasize sport and community. In addition to the trial, Adidas has launched a new club on Strava where runners can connect, track progress and participate in shared challenges.

To help members earn the required points, Adidas has highlighted a range of footwear and apparel options within the app. These include training shoes like the Adizero Evo SL and Supernova Rise 2, as well as everyday styles such as Superstar and Samba OG sneakers. Both men’s and women’s gear selections are available and count toward the adiClub points needed for redemption.

The initiative arrives as many runners prepare for spring races or build long-term routines. Whether running competitively or casually, the offer is designed to provide broader access to Strava’s training insights through an existing Adidas membership.
