SportsArt Searches for Students Committed to Sustainability

The fitness equipment leader’s second annual campus challenge will award more than $145K in SportsArt cardio equipment to three college campus recreation centers
Sustainable fitness equipment leader SportsArt has kicked off its second annual Campus Challenge Sweepstakes, which promotes sustainability to students in the U.S. and Canada and awards three college campus recreation centers with SportsArt Eco-Powr energy-generating cardio equipment.
The challenge invites college students to post a video on Instagram or TikTok explaining how they plan to be more sustainable in their daily lives on campus.
The first prize winner will be awarded a $75,000 grand prize package for their campus recreation center that includes five Eco-Powr treadmills. Second-prize winners receive three Powr steppers for their campus, while third-prize winners score three Eco-Powr steppers. Cash prizes will also be awarded to winning entrants, and donations will be made to sustainability organizations on campus.
Last year’s winners included Cleveland State University, the University of Michigan and Indiana University.
“We are once again encouraging students to accept the challenge and inspire others to live more sustainably,” SportsArt Americas executive vice president Ruben Mejia said.
“We all share this planet and we all can do something to be good stewards of it. So, as we continue to empower the sustainability movement and improve the Campus Challenge Sweepstakes, we’ve expanded to include college students in Canada, as well as adding the social media platform Instagram to accept entries.”
The 2nd Annual SportsArt Campus Challenge sweepstakes runs from January 1 to March 15. The three winning college campuses will be announced at the 2025 National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) Conference in Orlando, Florida, from April 23 – April 26.
