Sleep Apnea–Detecting Smart Ring From RingConn Launches at Target

Following a record-breaking Kickstarter debut, RingConn’s Gen 2 Smart Ring enters U.S. retail via Target
RingConn is bringing its smart ring to the mainstream. The health-focused wearable tech company has entered the U.S. retail market through a new partnership with Target, making its Gen 2 Smart Ring and accessories available on Target.com.
The Gen 2 Smart Ring, launched in late 2024, gained traction after raising $4.4 million on Kickstarter, setting a category record. The subscription-free wearable, which tracks sleep, fitness and women’s health metrics, also includes a unique feature: sleep apnea monitoring. According to the company, its accompanying app provides sleep apnea data, including Apnea-Hypopnea Index, oxygen desaturation index, SpO2, heart rate, skin temperature, respiratory rate and more.

RingConn says in-store availability is on the horizon, with plans to roll out the product in Target’s brick-and-mortar locations in the future. For now, customers can order a sizing kit online to ensure the right fit before purchasing the ring.
For its part, Target has followed through on its commitment to stock more wellness-oriented and better-for-you products in 2025, from non-alcoholic beer by Bero to Target exclusives from Bloom and Poppi, sports nutrition from Ka’Chava, and wellness tech from brands like Oura Ring and Therabody.
