Physique 57 Reclaims NYC With New NoMad Studio, Waldorf Astoria Residency
The barre brand’s Big Apple comeback goes beyond the studio with a Waldorf Astoria residency where workouts meet spa days
Physique 57 is back on the barre in New York.
On the heels of opening a new two-floor, sun-drenched studio in NoMad, the barre fitness brand is extending its reach uptown with an upcoming wellness residency at the Waldorf Astoria, where clients can pair Physique 57 classes with access to the hotel’s spa amenities.
The dual debut marks a new chapter for the brand, which closed its Manhattan studios during the pandemic and has been dedicated to rebuilding its footprint in the city that launched it. In addition to the newly opened NoMad studio, Physique 57 has licensed studios in Brooklyn and New Jersey, building on its international studios in Dubai, India and Bangkok, as well as its on-demand digital platform.

Physique 57’s next act may take shape beyond city limits, with a potential Canyon Ranch event in the works for spring 2026.
