Luxury Wellness Franchise Woodhouse Spa Grows Footprint

With new spas in Kentucky, Florida and Minnesota, Woodhouse is capitalizing on growing demand for upscale wellness experiences
Woodhouse Spa, a national luxury day spa franchise, is accelerating its growth strategy with the launch of three new locations in Louisville, Kentucky, Sarasota, Florida and Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
The openings, which follow a series of Q1 launches in Colorado and Texas, bringing the brand’s footprint to more than 90 locations nationwide. Founded in 2001 in Victoria, Texas, Woodhouse offers a premium yet accessible spa destination with massage therapy, facials, body treatments and other personalized self-care services in resort-style settings.
Woodhouse Spa exists at a time when the U.S. spa industry is experiencing record-breaking momentum, fueled by a growing consumer appetite for wellness. The sector reached $22.5 billion in revenue in 2024, its third consecutive year of historic highs, according to the latest U.S. Spa Industry Study from the International Spa Association (ISPA). The report, conducted by PwC, showed a 3.1% increase in spa visits and a 2.6% rise in revenue per visit as Americans increasingly prioritize self-care, stress reduction and holistic health.
“We’re proud to welcome the new Louisville, Sarasota, and Eden Prairie locations to Woodhouse Spa,” the brand’s chief operating officer Ariel Clay said. “As wellness continues to play a vital role in everyday life and demand continues to increase for accessible yet luxurious wellness experiences, these new openings allow us to continue to meet guests where they are – both geographically and in their personal wellness journeys.”
Looking ahead, Woodhouse plans to open additional wellness spas in Charleston, South Carolina, Wilmington, North Carolina and Altamonte Springs, Florida.
