The Miami-based Pilates franchise is bringing its high-energy reformer workouts to the London area, with a flagship Shoreditch studio set to open this summer
Fast-growing boutique fitness franchise JetSet Pilates is taking its expansion agenda international, announcing its United Kingdom debut this year.
The brand will open its flagship London studio this summer in the Shoreditch neighborhood, it announced on LinkedIn, with plans for four more studios across the city, per its website.
The Shoreditch location will feature a 2,200 square-foot space, bringing its reformer-based workouts to the increasingly wellness-focused British market.
“London is where I first discovered reformer Pilates after the birth of my first daughter, and it profoundly impacted both my body and my mind,” said JetSet founder Tamara Galinsky. “When I later moved to Miami and couldn’t find the kind of studio experience I loved, I created JetSet Pilates. Bringing the brand to London now feels incredibly special.”
JetSet’s European expansion comes soon after major deals back in the U.S., in which the brand locked down as many as 30 locations to open across Chicago and Boston.
JetSet’s ongoing growth continues with the help of a recent strategic investment from Purchase Capital, which is helping power the brand’s franchise development, instructor training programs and overall studio experiences, featuring its trademark Pilates workouts paired with DJ-curated music in a high-energy environment.
As Pilates continues to explode in popularity across the U.S., JetSet measures up with over 50 open studios, according to its website, and 270 total studios either open or in development.
