JetSet Pilates Plans Northeast Debut with Wellesley Location

JetSet Pilates is setting its sights on Boston, sensing a “tremendous opportunity” for its modern Reformer Pilates franchise
JetSet Pilates, the posh Miami-based modern Reformer Pilates brand, is jetting off to the Northeast with a new studio opening this spring in Wellesley, part of Greater Boston.
It will be the first JetSet Pilates location in New England, as the franchise actively seeks additional entrepreneurs to grow its presence in the region amid a continued Pilates boom, according to recent data from Garmin.
The Wellesley studio, set for 98 Central Street, will be nestled among local shops and restaurants. The franchise says it’s targeting neighborhoods and suburbs around Boston, including Cambridge, Newton, Back Bay, and Brookline, to establish 3-5 studios in the area over the next few years.
“Boston is an established, fitness-forward city with a deep appreciation for wellness and high-quality boutique fitness options,” JetSet Pilates CEO Bert Albertse said. “With its active lifestyle and community-driven culture, Boston is the perfect market for us. Wellesley, in particular, aligns with our mission to introduce innovative fitness concepts to neighborhoods that value wellness and personalized workouts.”
JetSet Pilates founder and brand president Tamara Galinsky echoed Albertse’s enthusiasm for Boston, noting that the franchisor sees a “tremendous opportunity” in the city, marked by its growing demand for unique fitness options that challenge the mind and body.
“As we continue to grow, we’re eager to partner with motivated entrepreneurs to bring the transformative benefits of our Modern Reformer Pilates method to more communities,” she added.
With just a few weeks into the new year, JetSet Pilates is already soaring high as it gears up for its upcoming training hub for instructors and prepping for its debut at the luxury Mr. C Residences in Coconut Grove, Florida, which will be home to the franchisor’s two-story flagship studio.
