Fitness•Fitness Business•Industry News Blink Launches Untapped, Returning Booking Control and Revenue to Fitness Studios ATN Staff June 9, 2026 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share via Email Credit: Blink Untapped allows studios to sell last-minute, discounted spots on their own branded page, keeping the customer relationship and the full class dollar in-house. Blink, a longtime fitness and wellness industry services provider, has launched Untapped, a platform designed to help independent fitness and wellness studios monetize unsold class inventory while maintaining ownership of customer relationships and revenue. The platform enables studios to list discounted last-minute class spots through a branded booking experience, allowing operators to set their own pricing, inventory controls and customer rules. Unlike third-party aggregation platforms, Untapped does not take a share of booking revenue, enabling studios to retain 100% of sales generated through the platform. The launch builds on Blink’s two decades of experience serving independent fitness and wellness businesses, including operators such as Rostudios, Yoga Joint, Title Boxing Club, Power Life and Urban Waxx. “Studios have always had a discovery problem and a control problem, and they’ve only been able to solve one of them at a time,” said Joseph Wheeler, principal at Blink. “Untapped lets operators keep the reach of the aggregators while taking back the booking, the pricing and the member.” Studios using Untapped can determine which classes appear on the platform, how many spots to release, member booking limits and same-day visibility windows. The platform also includes capacity-based pricing, allowing discounts to adjust automatically based on remaining inventory while preserving safeguards around full-price demand. Untapped integrates with Mariana Tek, ClubReady and Mindbody, three of the most widely used boutique fitness management platforms. The company has also introduced Untapped AI, an analytics-driven recommendation engine that analyzes historical attendance patterns to suggest when studios should release inventory and at what price points. Another feature, Return Lane, is designed to help operators convert marketplace users into direct customers. The tool allows studios to identify members who first discovered the business through ClassPass and invite them to book future visits directly through the studio’s own channel. Operators retain control over participation and ongoing communication with those consumers. The platform supports a broad range of boutique fitness and wellness concepts, including Pilates, yoga, barre, HIIT, boxing and specialty wellness studios. Untapped is available at no cost to operators and does not charge per-booking fees or revenue-sharing commissions.
