As adoption grows across pro and college sports, Ammortal has signed elite athletes including Mike Trout and Freddie Freeman to help fuel momentum behind its recovery tech that combines red-light and other wellness modalities into one treatment

As Ammortal has grown in popularity among athletes in the NFL and MLB, it comes as no surprise that some of those pros are now partnering with the company as ambassadors and investors.

The makers of a $160,000 immersive recovery chamber that combines red light and other modalities, Ammortal is now welcoming seven professional athletes as both ambassadors and investors, including Freddie Freeman of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels, to represent and support the brand.

Other athletes backing Ammortal are Alex Bregman (Chicago Cubs), Garrett Stubbs (Philadelphia Phillies), George Kittle (San Francisco 49ers), Matt Chapman (San Francisco Giants) and Bode Miller (World Cup alpine ski racer).

“Partnering with Ammortal made sense to me because they’re pushing the boundaries of recovery and wellness technology,” said Trout.

The Ammortal Chamber utilizes multi-modal technology, including red light therapy, pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF), vibroacoustic sound therapy, molecular hydrogen and guided breathwork and visual meditation, all within a futuristic-looking machine with design elements borrowed from NASA. Each component works to help manage high training loads, reduce physiological stress, recover from exertion and maintain mental clarity.

“Athletes are constantly pushing the limits of what our bodies can do, and recovery science needs to keep pace,” Trout added. “This partnership allows me to support innovation that benefits not just elite athletes, but anyone striving to maintain peak performance and long-term wellness. I’m excited to help advance this vision and be part of shaping the future of recovery in sports.”

Multiple NFL and MLB teams have installed the Ammortal Chamber in their facilities already, several of which have won championships, according to the company.

Top college football programs, including recent national champions in Clemson University, Indiana University and Ohio State University, have also begun incorporating the device.

“I’m always looking for tools that actually move the needle. Ammortal helps me recover faster and stay more consistent day-to-day,” Freeman said. “When you feel better, you play better — it’s that simple.”

As Ammortal continues to grow in the professional athlete space, the brand is also boosting its scientific credibility, adding Next Health founder Dr. Darshan Shah as its first-ever chief medical officer, bringing expertise in wellness and longevity to support the company’s mission.
