The Pack’s unique self-defense workout is continuing to gain traction among celebrities, with actress and activist Jameela Jamil now joining the New York City-based boutique fitness brand as a strategic partner.

The “Good Place” star is a fan of the boutique studio’s focus on building strength and resilience through workouts that blend strength training, conditioning and self-defense techniques.

“In a world that constantly encourages women to be smaller and less threatening, I wanted to partner with a community that celebrates strength, agility and power instead,” Jamil told Athletech News. “That’s the future I want for women and girls.”

Jamil is known for being an outspoken feminist, particularly passionate about body inclusivity and rewriting the narrative around weight to shift the focus to all of the other qualities that are inherently valuable about women beyond their size.

Rumble Boxing co-founders Noah Neiman and Andy Stenzler founded The Pack in 2025.

“From day one, The Pack has been about much more than fitness,” Neiman said. “It’s about helping people become stronger physically, mentally and emotionally. Jameela has inspired millions to embrace confidence over perfection and redefine strength on their own terms,” he continued. “She embodies everything The Pack stands for, and we couldn’t imagine a better partner to help lead the next chapter of our growth.”

Jamil will work with The Pack’s leadership team on brand strategy, community initiatives, original programming, digital content and future campaigns centered on confidence, resilience and empowerment in her new role.

“My hope is that The Pack becomes more than a workout,” she said. “I want it to be a community where people empower each other, build confidence from the inside out, and remember that we’re always stronger together.”

Jamil joins the likes of Super Bowl champion and New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson and Grammy-winning musician Ciara, who became founding partners of The Pack last year.

Following the opening of its flagship Flatiron studio in 2025, The Pack has been looking to steadily grow its footprint, embarking on a domestic and global franchising mission. Earlier this year, the brand signed 18 franchising deals to bring units across New Jersey and South Florida.
