Workout Anytime, a 24/7 fitness franchise, has powered up with franchisee-turned-CEO and owner Jerry Pugh

Workout Anytime, true to its name as a round-the-clock, 24/7 fitness franchise, has named Jerry Pugh as its new owner and chief executive officer.

The gym brand, founded in 1999, currently has more than 200 locations.

“I am truly honored to step into this leadership role,” Pugh, Workout Anytime’s largest franchisee, said. “As a longtime franchisee, I’ve witnessed the incredible impact Workout Anytime has on communities and its potential for growth. I’m excited to build on this strong foundation and work alongside our franchisees to explore new opportunities, elevate member experiences and drive the brand to greater success.”

The Atlanta-based fitness franchise has recently expanded its recovery offerings, adding traditional and infrared saunas, red light therapy, massage chairs and percussion guns. All newly constructed Workout Anytime locations will include a premium wellness suite, while existing clubs can be retrofitted to offer select wellness amenities.

“Jerry’s journey from franchisee to CEO is a testament to his dedication and vision,” Workout Anytime co-founder Steven Strickland said. “His leadership will undoubtedly propel Workout Anytime to new heights while staying true to our mission of empowering both our members and franchisees.”
