Think Hyrox, but for healthspan. The Super Age Games debuts this fall with Whoop and NeuroTracker as founding sponsors

You can now compete in a fitness event for basically any identity you hold: runner, lifter, obstacle-course enthusiast, even former high school athlete who wants to see if they still have their edge.

As of Thursday, add one more — people who want to live to 100 and are ready to put their crossword talent to good use.

Super Age, a longevity media brand, has unveiled the Super Age Games, a new competition that measures healthspan.

The event lands in New York City on Nov. 7, capped at 1,000 participants, with sponsors that include Whoop, Altra, Pur, Braun and NeuroTracker. The specific venue hasn’t been announced, but Super Age said the Games will be held at a historic Washington Heights location

Super Age is also keeping the specifics of its eight trials under wraps, but will give hints and training resources in the run-up to the event. What’s known so far is that participants can expect unique challenges that test grip strength, cardiovascular capacity, agility, endurance under load, functional strength and balance, plus trials meant to test cognitive and relational skills.

Measuring social capacity is certainly rare in the Hyrox-dominated fitness competition category, but Super Age is making the case that it not only belongs, but may be the one that matters the most.

“Longevity isn’t a solo sport,” Super Age explains on its website. “Your ability to build trust, connect under pressure, repair and show up for the people around you is one of the most powerful predictors of how long and how well you’ll live.”

Two ticket tiers are available: Athlete ($399) and Champion ($1,299). Both include entry to the Super Age Games, a personalized longevity report, a social-ready highlight reel and swag. Champion adds two clinical lab tests through Whoop Advanced Labs, an enhanced longevity report, two pairs of Altra running shoes, a virtual training consult with a Super Age Games trainer, an annual NeuroTracker cognitive training membership and VIP perks.

Registrants will get access to The Super Age Standard, a training platform to prepare for the event. The program includes baseline assessments across all eight functional biomarkers and training protocols.

“The Games isn’t just about adding years to your life, it’s about adding life to your years: more time to travel, play with your kids, do what you love,” Super Age founder David Harry Stewart said. “That’s worth training for.”
