Can DNA testing and an AI coach shape your health future? A new platform thinks so, and it’s already being tested by Olympic and Ironman champions

Maxiom Labs and DNAthlete AG have joined forces to create what they call a new frontier in human performance, blending genetic testing with adaptive artificial intelligence to deliver real-time, hyper-personalized health and longevity guidance.

The partnership follows DNAthlete’s investment in Maxiom last month and underscores the growing interest in AI-powered tools to improve preventive health measures.

The joint platform has already been backed and tested by some of the world’s top endurance athletes, including Ironman world record holder Laura Philipp, Kristian Blummenfelt, Olympic gold medalist and Ironman world champion and Gustav Iden, Ironman 70.3 world champion.

By integrating users’ DNA profiles with data from wearables, biomarkers and behavioral patterns, the companies say they can generate personalized recommendations that evolve alongside individuals.

The platform is designed to go beyond generic guidance, offering personalized training and recovery insights, DNA-informed nutrition protocols, tools for stress, sleep and injury prevention, adaptive feedback based on real-time data, and long-term healthspan insights.

“This is more than a collaboration. It’s a moonshot for humanity’s potential,” DNAthlete AG CEO Daniel Martin said. “When you combine the power of DNA with adaptive AI—you don’t just optimize performance. You change lives.”

Maxiom brings to the table its proprietary engine, Max, an adaptive, human-centered intelligence trained exclusively on peer-reviewed science and billions of data points.

“We believe that inside each of us is the blueprint for the best of us,” Maxiom co-founder and CEO Eric Harr said. “And while the promise of DNA and AI working in harmony is profound, we’re still in the early stages of unlocking its full potential. There are important questions to answer and real work ahead—but we couldn’t ask for a better partner than DNAthlete. This partnership is about more than optimization—it’s about redefining what it means to live, feel and perform at your highest level.”

As a first step, the companies are rolling out a limited pre-release of the platform to 1,000 users through what they’re calling The Champion’s Circle.

Mindful of the missteps that plagued earlier consumer DNA ventures, the companies say they’re prioritizing privacy from the ground up, with military-grade security measures and strict consent protocols to ensure users retain full control of their genetic and personal data.

“We are not repeating the mistakes of the past,” Martin said. “We’re setting a new gold standard for data integrity, transparency and protection. Privacy is not a feature—it’s a foundation.”
