ClassPass selected The Manner SoHo for its first-ever hotel partnership, giving guests credits to use across New York City’s fitness, beauty and wellness ecosystem.
For The Manner, a 97-room property built around an upscale, residential feel, the collaboration fits naturally into its emphasis on lifestyle-forward hospitality. It’s part of Hyatt’s luxury-focused Unbound Collection with rates from $471 per night, and is bookable online at Hyatt, Booking.com or Hotels.com. I checked in to see how the partnership played out in practice for consumers.

Check-In & ClassPass Credits
The Manner manages to feel like a private SoHo residence while still carrying the refinement of a luxury boutique. The lobby is intimate, quiet and pared-back, while elegant and modern. During check-in, the front desk outlined the fitness options and handed me a card confirming I had 20 ClassPass credits to use through a one-time code. The card also noted they would expire at checkout, setting the expectation that they were intended to be incorporated into the rhythm of the stay.
To activate the credits, I needed to contact ClassPass through their online chatbot. That part took some time; the agent wasn’t familiar with the hotel program, and I spent about ten minutes explaining the partnership before everything clicked. Once the details were understood, the credits were added immediately.
I booked a prime-time class at JetSet Pilates and, despite the hotel’s note about checkout, used the credits for a 1 p.m. class after checking out without any issues. The class itself was challenging in the best way: fast-paced, precise and a clear reminder of why JetSet remains one of the most popular Pilates options in the neighborhood. In practice, the ClassPass system seems more flexible than the written guidance, and the experience made good use of the credits included with the stay. It only used around half my credits, so I had some left over for a smoothie at Juice Press nearby.

The Manner Hotel Amenities
The Apartment is the heart of the property, a guest-only lounge that feels like an elevated, lived-in living room. There are curated books, comfortable chairs and natural light throughout the day. Breakfast is served here each morning with complimentary offerings like pastries, yogurt and fruit, alongside a small à la carte menu. The breakfast sandwich was especially memorable, one of the best hotel breakfast sandwiches I have ever had.
In the late afternoon, The Apartment shifts into a relaxed aperitivo hour. Until 7:00 p.m., guests are offered complimentary wine along with cheeses, cured meats and salty snacks. The setup is casual but thoughtful, and it gives the space an easy, communal rhythm without feeling busy.
Sloane’s, the tucked-away bar within the property, continues the same tone in the evenings, offering well-made cocktails in a quiet, refined room just steps from the lounge.

Fitness Ecosystem: ClassPass
The Manner’s ClassPass credits are a versatile offering, ideal for a boutique class, a spa appointment, or a recovery service. What makes the ClassPass integration particularly useful is the purchasing power of the 20 credits included with the stay. In the SoHo area, that amount stretches surprisingly far. A premium Pilates class at a studio like JetSet typically ranges from 9 to 13 credits, meaning you can book at least one high-demand session and often still have credits left over. Strength and conditioning studios, yoga and cycling classes tend to fall between 6 and 10 credits depending on time of day, opening up the possibility of booking two sessions over the course of a long weekend. The credits can also be put toward massages, facials, sauna or cold plunge sessions, or even hair and beauty appointments at participating partners, most of which start around the 8 to 14 credit range.
While not every class or session had availability so last-minute, more did than I expected, particularly if ClassPass remains flexible with the time window of the booking.
The Verdict
Overall, The Manner SoHo delivers a version of boutique hospitality that feels both residential and distinctly upscale, but the ClassPass integration is what sets it apart in a neighborhood full of strong hotel options.
Having credits included at check-in gives guests an easy way to tap into the surrounding wellness scene, whether that’s a Pilates class, a recovery treatment or even a quick bite at a participating café. The partnership turns the neighborhood into part of the hotel experience and makes it simple to keep a routine without extra planning.
