Now it’s overhauling the brand’s programming, signing on big-name talent and fielding a franchise waitlist Next Health is moving fast to put its stamp on Lindora, the medical weight-loss brand it acquired from Xponential Fitness last September, launching franchise sales and overhauling the brand’s clinical programming as it scales its proactive healthcare model in the U.S. Franchise sales for Lindora officially opened on Feb. 1 under Next Health’s umbrella, with demand strong enough that a waitlist formed before sales even launched, and the company says territory availability is already limited. The acquisition, terms of which were never disclosed, marked a pivotal moment for both companies. Xponential, which had trimmed its portfolio from 11 brands to five fitness-focused names including Club Pilates and Pure Barre, saw the deal as a chance to hand Lindora franchisees a strong home. “We are confident that for Lindora franchisees, the transaction represents a compelling opportunity to become a part of one of the leading health optimization organizations in the world,” Xponential CEO Mike Nuzzo said at the time. Now Next Health is revitalizing Lindora’s approach. The brand has appointed JJ Virgin, a well-known figure in metabolic health and nutrition, as chief metabolic health officer. Virgin will lead what Lindora is calling its “Muscle-First: Everything Else Follows” programming, a reorientation away from weight loss as the primary goal and toward long-term metabolic health. “JJ is one of the most decorated and respected voices in metabolic health,” Lindora president Andrew Marlow said. “Her deep expertise and muscle-first approach to metabolic health align perfectly with Lindora’s new chapter.” In her new role, Virgin will develop a Metabolic Health Score to give patients an actionable view of their progress and introduce a lineup of supplements into Lindora’s clinical programs, starting with Sheatine, a creatine blend that supports lean muscle and metabolic efficiency. “Weight loss is not the goal, metabolic health is,” Virgin said. “When you restore metabolic function, weight loss becomes a natural byproduct.” Next Health snapped up Lindora from Xponential Fitness last fall.
