iFIT’s NordicTrack Enters Pilates With Ultra Reformer Series
The new reformer line marks a step forward in connected Pilates, and follows iFIT’s recent acquisition of Reform RX
iFIT is accelerating its expansion into the Pilates category with the launch of the NordicTrack Ultra Reformer Series, a premium line that marks the brand’s first entry into fully connected reformers. As interest in strength-based, low-impact modalities rises, the Model S aims to meet that demand with equipment designed for boutique studios, larger commercial operators, while a lighter version is made for at-home use.
The launch comes after iFIT acquired Reform RX, a maker of high-end connected Pilates reformers, earlier this year.
The Ultra Series is positioned as the next phase of that strategy. Each model features a redesigned frame and an integrated HD touchscreen, building on Reform RX’s approach to blending traditional Pilates with modern digital capabilities.
“We are bringing the Pilates studio experience home and expanding what’s possible for our members through expert instruction and workout personalization on our reformers,” iFIT CEO Kevin Duffy said. “Every workout is a private session. Pilates brings strength, control, and mindfulness to every fitness journey, and this launch makes that experience more accessible and intelligent than ever before.”
The new reformer also reflects iFIT’s broader push to diversify beyond its traditional cardio offerings and strengthen its position in connected fitness. The Model S introduces a modernized take on the Pilates reformer category.

The Ultra 1 Reform RX-S is built for commercial operators and training centers that want connected, self-guided or instructor-led formats.
A light commercial version, the Ultra 1 Reformer, comes in maple or walnut finishes suited for home gyms, residential wellness spaces or boutique hospitality concepts.
The reformer features push-button resistance control, a safer evolution of traditional spring systems. Housed within a “smart spine,” the mechanism keeps springs enclosed while displaying resistance levels in real time. The Infinity Footbar offers 28 adjustable positions, while ergonomic handles positioned at all four corners enhance functionality and user safety. Users can even do exercises atop the smart spine.
A 21.5-inch HD touchscreen gives users access to more than 300 on-demand Pilates classes led by the brand’s instructors. The reformer’s built-in tracking captures biometric feedback, including heart rate, power output and calories burned, integrating with Whoop and Polar devices. Bluetooth compatibility and casting features allow workouts to extend across screens, while the companion app provides post-session analytics and community engagement.
The launch follows a series of strategic moves that have reshaped iFIT’s digital reach.
Earlier this year, the company expanded its partnership with Ergatta, bringing game-based workouts and Tour de France content to iFIT’s connected equipment. It also teamed up with Samsung Health, allowing Galaxy users to access iFIT workouts directly through the Samsung Health app.
Preorders for the Ultra 1 Reform RX-S will open in December 2025, with the Ultra 1 Reformer following on NordicTrack.com. Commercial operators can inquire through iFIT’s Freemotion division. An iFIT membership unlocks full connected features, though the machines can also function as premium reformers without digital content.
