GWI’s “The Wellness Roundtable” explores the latest in longevity through conversations with scientists, clinicians, CEOs and investors

The Global Wellness Institute, a nonprofit research organization tracking trends in the nearly $7 trillion-dollar wellness industry, is launching a podcast for wellness professionals and more navigating the booming longevity space.

Hosted by Well+Good co-founder and The Practice: Habits for Healthspan creator Alexia Brue, the new series – “The Wellness Roundtable” – offers bi-weekly episodes featuring conversations with scientists, clinicians, CEOs and investors on the evolving science and business of lifespan.

Episodes begin streaming May 14 across major podcast platforms and GWI’s YouTube channel.

“Longevity has officially entered the cultural zeitgeist, but many conversations either get mired in the science or drift into Silicon Valley fantasy,” Brue said. “‘The Wellness Roundtable’ is different. We’re bridging the science with the real-world application that wellness professionals need—because it’s the practitioners, not just the billionaires, who will shape how healthspan becomes part of everyday life. These conversations are for the people on the ground—the clinicians, coaches and entrepreneurs—who are ready to turn longevity from a buzzword into a movement. Hosting these dialogues now feels urgent because the future of aging isn’t something we should passively inherit. It’s something we can actively shape.”

Each 10-episode arc will dive into a new topic, with the first season sponsored by Fountain Life, an AI-driven longevity center. The series also features insights from Beth McGroarty, the Institute’s vice president of research and forecasting, who recently spotlighted analog wellness as an emerging trend.
