In Colorado, Genesis has acquired four Colorado Athletic Club locations: Denver Tech Center in Greenwood Village, Monaco and Tabor in Denver, and Flatirons in Boulder. The five New Mexico Sports & Wellness clubs (Del Norte, Riverpoint, Highpoint, Midtown and Downtown) are all in Albuquerque. Existing members will keep access to their current clubs and amenities and can expect continued investment in facilities and programming, Genesis said. Genesis clubs offer a full-service mix of cardio and strength equipment, group fitness, personal training and athletic programs, with premium amenities like pools, basketball courts, steam rooms, saunas and childcare varying by location. The deal extends a run of growth for the Kansas-based Genesis, which closed nine acquisitions in 2025, including eight Esporta Fitness clubs from LA Fitness parent Fitness International and a 175,000-square-foot Pelican Athletic Club in Mandeville, Louisiana. “This is a big step forward for us,” Genesis Health Clubs owner and president Rodney Steven II said. “These are great clubs with great teams.
