Alani Nu Surpasses $1 Billion in Sales

Alani Nu, recently acquired by Celsius, has cemented its role as a rising force in the better-for-you energy drink market
Alani Nu, the energy drink marketed towards women and recently acquired by former competitor Celsius for $1.8 billion, has surpassed $1 billion in retail sales for the 52 weeks ending April 13, showing a 72.4% increase year-over-year.
Celsius finalized the deal earlier this month, adding Alani Nu’s energy drinks, protein powders, shakes, energy bars and collagen to its portfolio. Key Alani Nu leadership team members will serve in an advisory capacity to Celsius.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate this incredible achievement by Alani Nu,” Celsius chairman and CEO John Fieldly said. “Alani Nu has excelled in developing consumer-focused product innovation and created a strong, relatable brand beloved by consumers for its relevance and authenticity. We believe that this milestone is evidence that Alani Nu is something very unique and special.”
During Celsius’ Q4 2024 earnings call in February, Fieldly noted that Celsius feels “really bullish” about its innovation strategy for 2025.
“Both these brands together offer a better-for-you platform,” Fieldly said of Alani Nu and Celsius. “There’s a lot of opportunities—especially with Alani— expanding into adjacent categories. And I think that opens up scale. Health and wellness continues to grow and become part of the daily lifestyle of all of our consumers.”
