Zenoti, a software company making a big push into the fitness industry, touts the effectiveness and time-saving abilities of its “AI workforce”
Software platform Zenoti, made for barbershops, salons, spas, medspas and gyms, has launched its own “AI workforce” made for fitness and wellness brands.
After having learned from over 30,000 businesses across 50 countries — and processing over $10 billion annually in transactions — the workforce AI agents are trained to automate routine tasks and accelerate growth. With AI undertaking those workflows, it could help give back time to providers and staff.
“Our AI workforce represents a fundamental shift in how technology serves our industry,” said Sudheer Koneru, CEO and co-founder of Zenoti. “Until now, technology has largely assisted people in their work — helping them book appointments, run campaigns, or manage operations.”
“These agents act as true members of the team. This shift redefines what’s possible: businesses can grow faster, deliver better experiences, and free their people to focus on creativity and care,” Koneru added.
Last year, Zenoti embarked on a more aggressive push into the fitness and wellness space, working with brands including CorePower Yoga and Planet Fitness to supply software.
Fitness and wellness brands are increasingly leaning into AI, with Peloton just unveiling a new AI-powered coaching tool and other software providers offering so-called “agentic AI” services.
Zenoti’s AI tools are made to work across fitness and wellness disciplines such as salons, spas, medspas and fitness centers. Its AI agents will include:
- AI Receptionist: An always-available virtual assistant that answers every call 24/7, automatically booking appointments, handling FAQs, rescheduling visits and following up on missed calls.
- AI Concierge: An always-on engagement hub to analyze every customer interaction across phone, SMS and web interfaces to identify missed revenue opportunities, provide staff with real-time prompts and automatically recover lost bookings through AI-informed follow-ups.
- AI Lead Manager: Captures, scores, qualifies and follows up with leads across every channel. Provides automated alerts, centralized tracking and personalized engagement campaigns.
- AI Marketer: Analyzes guest behavior, business availability and preferences to create and distribute personalized and timely marketing campaigns.
- AI Scribe: Transcribes consultations and generates editable notes and detailed treatment summaries.
- AI Dispute Manager: Consolidates transaction data and drafts evidence documents to defend against payment disputes. Helps streamline chargeback responses and recover disputed funds.
The AI Receptionist and Concierge tools are immediately available, with the rest rolling out later this year.
