Tonal Launches Live Fitness Classes for East Coast Early Birds
The smart at-home fitness system company says there has been demand for earlier workout times
Tonal has shared news that will give East Coast early birds a reason to celebrate. The at-home fitness system company has opened a content studio in New York City where expert coaches will lead live workouts during earlier times as well. Tonal will now offer a total of 32 live classes, Monday through Friday.
“You asked for earlier workout times – and you got it,” Tonal announced in a promo video. Those who can’t make the earlier classes can enjoy an Encore workout, which is a previously-aired workout.
The connected fitness company has signed on five new NYC-based coaches – Kristina Centenari, Tanysha Renee, Joe Rodonis, Ash Wilking, and Tim Landicho. The new instructors will be joined by Coach Kendall “Woody” Wood.
“Live workouts bring the energy and support of in-person classes into your home as you build your strength in real-time alongside a Tonal coach and other community members,” Tonal announced on its site.
The full-body at-home fitness system creator says that the team will be creating new and challenging strength-based and HIIT workouts.
Last fall, the fitness brand announced that it would launch Tonal Live as an interactive workout experience.
“As our community has grown over the past few years, we’ve been encouraged by the organic social engagement, the craving for more interaction with our coaches, and the excitement that comes from reaching new milestones; Tonal Live will allow us to connect these elements through a studio experience while retaining the foundation of what differentiates our workouts: personalization, guidance, and feedback,” said Aly Orady, Founder and CEO of Tonal in September 2021.
Tonal, backed by investors like LeBron James and Maria Sharapova, achieved the coveted Unicorn status last year.
