The Australia-founded Studio Pilates International has five additional locations planned in the coming months in Texas, and is eyeing expansion in other key U.S. markets

Studio Pilates International is on a non-stop expansion mission, with its latest studio marking the brand’s debut into the Texas market.

The North Plano location, opening on November 8, will be the first of five studios set to open across Texas in the coming months. The Texas studios will join the 125+ global network of Studio Pilates International locations, and the over 70 currently in development.

“We’re excited to enter the Texas market and introduce Studio Pilates International’s results-driven Reformer experience to a community that values innovation in fitness and wellness,” said co-founder and CEO Jade Winter. “Our Pilates classes deliver high-performance results in an elevated, supportive environment — and we look forward to building a strong community across the state.”

The Australia-founded brand identified Texas as a key growth market, where demand for low-impact, boutique group fitness has continued increasing.

Multi-unit franchisees David de Prez and Alyson Baynes will spearhead expansion across the Dallas region in North Plano, McKinney, West Plano and Windsong. Elizabeth Perez-Montes and Edison Montes bring the brand to the greater Houston area in Missouri City, while San Antonio and other markets are slated to follow.

Its U.S. growth isn’t stopping at Texas; through 2026, Studio Pilates International is planning to open new locations in California, South Carolina, Massachusetts, New York, Nevada and Florida. Simultaneously, global growth continues with new international studios confirmed across Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

In 2024, the company saw record growth, with total client visits jumping nearly 30%, 20 new studios opened, an increase in network sales by 36% and 4,000 new instructors trained alongside the onboarding of more than 40 new mentors.

Studio Pilates International’s notable expansion is riding a wave of Pilates success globally, as the combined market for Pilates and yoga studios is expected to reach $521 billion in value by 2035.
