The Sequel Brands-owned fitness franchise had an explosive year of growth after opening its first location in May, with ambitious expansion planned for 2026
Pilates Addiction is rounding out a year of explosive growth, now surpassing 200 territories sold nationwide after opening its very first studio in May, cementing it as one of the fastest-growing Pilates franchise brands in the country.
“Crossing 200 territories is a testament to both the momentum of the brand and the growing demand for performance-focused Pilates,” said Pilates Addiction CEO Sarah Luna, a former executive for brands including Club Pilates and Pure Barre.
To mark the occasion, Pilates Addiction hosted an Art Basel-inspired pop-up event at the Fontainebleau in Miami and also debuted the Aurum, a gold patented WundaFormer Pilates machine, which combines a reformer, jump board, ballet barre and Wunda Chair into one system.

The machine will enable instructors to provide classes that push clients’ strength, mobility, and functional performance, while also offering a more unique, results-driven Pilates experience.
“Our Miami pop-up brought the brand to life in a way that reflects where fitness culture is headed — experiential, elevated and rooted in real results,” Luna said. “Operators and clients alike are choosing Pilates Addiction because it blends premium design, precision coaching, and athletic training into one powerful experience.”
Those moves also marked the beginning of Pilates Addiction’s upcoming East Coast studio openings including West Boca Raton, which will continue its nationwide expansion.
Operating under Sequel Brands, the new boutique fitness and wellness franchising company launched earlier this year by Xponential Fitness founder Anthony Geisler, Pilates Addiction says it plans to open over 100 locations in 2026 alone.
