Timed ahead of Hyrox’s upcoming two-week-long event in New York City, expected to be the largest North American race in the series’ history, Peloton is releasing a 12-week program to prepare its members for the race

Peloton is expanding its hybrid training footprint with the launch of its first-ever Hyrox Training Program, a comprehensive 12-week plan designed to prepare members for competition in the fast-growing fitness racing series.

The rollout comes as Hyrox continues its rapid global expansion, with participation swelling across North America and Europe. NYC is poised to host what organizers say will be the largest Hyrox event in North American history, over two different weekends of May 28–31 and June 4–7, 2026.

For Peloton, the launch marks another step to create fitness and wellness content that goes beyond the bike.

“People have an expectation when they buy a Peloton product, that they’re becoming part of something bigger,” Peloton chief product officer Nick Caldwell said during ATN’s Innovation Summit last year. “We have to go beyond offering just what we see on the leaderboard, high fives and hashtags… our members crave more.”

Over the past year, the company has steadily broadened its strength, outdoor and endurance offerings, while emphasizing instructor-led programs that deliver progression rather than one-off classes.

Earlier this year, Peloton partnered with Hyrox to become its official digital training partner.

The 12-week program is led by instructors Robin Arzón and Andy Speer, both certified Hyrox performance coaches, alongside Adrian Williams, Alex Karwoski, Ash Pryor, Chelsea Jackson Roberts, Joslyn Thompson Rule and Logan Aldridge.

“Hyrox demands grit, strategy, and relentless focus,” Arzón said. “This program is built to forge both. You will train your engine. You will train your strength. And you will train your mind to stay sharp when fatigue hits. We are not just getting you through the race. We are building you to own it.”

The structure of the series mirrors Hyrox’s race format, which combines repeated 1K runs with functional strength stations including sled pushes, sled pulls and wall balls. The first six weeks focus heavily on aerobic capacity and threshold control. In Week 7, athletes complete a 75-minute simulation to test pacing and transitions. The final phase shifts toward what Peloton calls “real demand” training, replicating the cumulative fatigue of moving from heavy sled work directly into running intervals.

The program is designed to serve people at all fitness levels: beginners are guided through technical mechanics and gradually progress toward official race weights in the latter half of the cycle, while more advanced athletes are encouraged to train with race weights from Week 1, dialing in cycle times and efficiency from the outset.

The program is available starting Friday on the Peloton App and across Peloton hardware. An official Hyrox Training Team housed within the app’s Community tab will serve as a digital hub where Members can engage with instructors, join challenges and connect with fellow competitors throughout the build.
