The fitness racing giant will bring eight days of competition to Pier 76 this spring as it deepens its partnership with a leading New York hospital
For two long weekends next spring, the west side of Manhattan will belong to Hyrox.
The fast-growing fitness racing brand, which has its sights set on the Olympics, has expanded its partnership with healthcare system NYU Langone Health, and extended its New York City event across two weekends at Pier 76 on the Hudson River. The race will run from May 28–31 before returning June 4–7.
NYU Langone Health will serve as title sponsor of the event and is offering spots to participants who commit to raising funds in support of its mission to promote health and wellness. They will also provide wellness and recovery resources for competitors through NYU Langone’s Sports Performance Center.
“We’re thrilled to partner with NYU Langone Health ahead of Hyrox New York this 2025/26 season,” Hyrox chief growth officer Douglas Gremmen said. “This partnership is a great fit for Hyrox, as NYU Langone Health shares our core mission of promoting health and fitness globally, all whilst creating positive impact along the way through their charitable initiative.”

By deepening its relationship with one of New York’s most recognizable health systems, Hyrox is reinforcing its investment in science, following the launch of its Science Advisory Council, which consists of a panel of academic experts the brand says will help shape the sport’s long-term evolution. The group published its first Science of Hyrox Report late last year.
The race experience includes eight one-kilometer runs, each followed by a standardized workout station, for a total of eight run-workout intervals.
Those in training mode can prepare at select Orangetheory studios or accredited Hyrox training clubs that are affiliated with the brand. There are a growing number of them around the world, including Middle East gym operator GymNation, Everlast Gyms in the U.K., Fitness First in Germany, F45 and select UBX locations and Gold’s Gym locations. Connected fitness giant Peloton has also launched a Hyrox class series.
For those who prepare to train beyond land, Hyrox is launching a new adult-only fitness cruise that will sail from Oct. 21 to 25. Guests on board the ship can participate in five to six training sessions, clinics, panel talks and meet-and-greets with exclusive guests.
Hyrox held its first-ever New York City event in 2024, which marked a big win for the brand as it looks to expand its presence in the U.S. market.
